How I work with clients

Political Advisory & Public Affairs

For clients who need to understand how American political decisions actually get made — not the version you read in the press. I spent time in senior roles in Florida state government under Governor Ron DeSantis, and I’ve maintained relationships with people who now hold federal positions. That means I can analyze policy shifts and anticipate their real economic impact. I’m able to identify which voices in Washington actually move the needle on a given issue and help position your organization accordingly. This is especially valuable for trade associations, foreign governments, and companies whose business depends on the regulatory direction of the U.S.

Transatlantic Business Consulting

For European companies entering the United States, and American companies looking seriously at Germany or the broader EU. The work is practical. For inbound clients, I help with state selection (the U.S. is fifty very different markets), brand and messaging adaptation, stakeholder mapping, and the unglamorous logistics of setting up operations somewhere new. For outbound clients heading into Germany, the focus shifts: market access, regulatory navigation, and the cultural fluency that determines whether a partnership holds together past the kickoff dinner.

Strategy for German Companies

For German businesses working on questions that benefit from an outside perspective. Competitive positioning, growth strategy, organizational decisions — the kind of work where you need someone who understands the German context but isn't inside it. Two decades inside the world's largest economy, in both business and politics, gives me a vantage point that's hard to replicate from within. Often this is a sounding-board engagement: a board chair or CEO who wants honest counsel from someone with no internal politics to navigate.

Have a project on your mind?

Whether it's a market entry, a political read, or a strategic question you can't put to your own team, let's talk. The first conversation is free and tells us both whether there's something worth building together.

Strategy is a conversation, not a deck.

Every engagement starts the same way — a real conversation about what you’re working on and what’s actually at stake. From there, we figure out together whether I’m the right partner for the work. No pitch theater, no junior staff handed the project after the contract signs. If we move forward, you work with me directly, start to finish.
